    Company has been horrible with communicating and following up with potential customers. My family and I have land and would be using one of Infinity homes models for our build. We gave them a non refundable $500 payment and have been waiting on a response from the sale agent regarding quotes. We were told that a project manager had to survey our land in order to get quotes for water/sewer/electricity. The property lines were clearly marked on our land and we were told that the project manager couldn’t find them. I honestly don’t think they went out there because why wouldn’t you contact the customer immediately by phone to verify the property lines. They were painted in orange paint! It’s been almost 4 weeks and we are not getting anywhere. We initially reached out to them last year and were leery about using them because of their response time to our inquiries then but still decided to use them. Infinity Homes should be more prompt to respond, especially when you know the customer is serious and provided the fee. We have our current home for sale and would like to minimize the amount of time that we would have to live in an apartment, so we need to keep the ball rolling.
    Also, we already were preapproved by our bank for financing but were told that we still had to get preapproval from Goldstar, which we did. Goldstar told us that we had to put 20% down if we used them but they emailed over a preapproval letter that was intended for someone else that stated they were only required to put down 3%. We have excellent credit. So that can’t be the issue. I didn’t care to address this with Goldstar because we weren’t going to use them anyway. In all, the experience thus far has not been very pleasant. I forgot to add that our land is right across the street from an Infinity homes subdivision that is currently building new homes. Can a project manager from that sub go an check out the land and report it back to the sales agent in Novi?

    We have not signed a contract yet and based on how this is going, unfortunately, we may have to find another builder. I’m still waiting to see how much longer it will take for the quote. I’ll let you know. Hopefully, they can redeem themselves.

    Update
    We received an update from the sales agent who contacted us not even 2 hours after this review. It was decided that Infinity Homes would refund us our deposit and we will part ways based on my review. That was the fastest response received to date. Thanks for at least agreeing to refund our deposit.
